Providers integrating a high-risk AI system into products falling within the scope of existing Union harmonisation legislation based on the New Legislative Framework should be required to comply with the requirements of this Regulation and of the relevant Union harmonisation legislation. The interaction between this Regulation and those legislative acts should be clarified. The obligations of the provider of the high-risk AI system concerning the documentation and post-market monitoring already covered by the existing Union harmonisation legislation based on the New Legislative Framework should apply where the AI system is integrated in products covered by that legislation.
