Providers, importers, distributors, deployers and any other third parties should be subject to registration obligations regarding their AI systems to facilitate market surveillance. Registration should only be required for high-risk AI systems placed on the market or put into service within the Union. Registration should be made through a publicly accessible EU database and should be free of charge.
