National competent authorities, including national data protection authorities, should have available sufficient resources, including financial resources, to fulfil effectively their tasks under this Regulation. This should include sufficiently qualified staff with the relevant skills and expertise. Mindful of the fast-paced technological developments in the field of AI, national competent authorities and staff should also receive appropriate training on an ongoing basis.
