In order to address the specific risks posed by general-purpose AI models with systemic risk in a reliable manner that does not replace the risk management carried out by providers with state-of-the-art capabilities, the Board should recommend that the Commission request such a model be subjected to an appropriate evaluation conducted by independent experts.
