Given the importance of standardisation for the effective application of this Regulation, the Commission should take into account the standardisation dimension in particular when issuing delegated and implementing acts. The Commission should endeavour, to establish cooperation with European Standardisation Organisations and international standardisation bodies to contribute to the development of harmonised standards and common specifications that are of high quality and clarity.
