Deployers of high-risk AI systems have specific obligations under this Regulation. In particular, deployers should use high-risk AI systems in accordance with the instructions of use accompanying the system. It is important for deployers to monitor the operation of high-risk AI systems on the basis of the instructions for use, and to inform the provider thereof if they have any reason to believe that the operation of the system may result in risks. Deployers should also ensure that input data is relevant, sufficiently representative and consistent with the intended purpose of the high-risk AI system. Deployers should ensure human oversight as appropriate and should ensure that the persons assigned to implement the instructions for use and human oversight have the necessary competence, training and authority to properly fulfil those tasks.
