The obligation for deployers of high-risk AI systems to conduct a fundamental rights impact assessment should be consistent with and complement any other applicable Union or national legal requirements, such as the requirement to conduct an impact assessment under the General Data Protection Regulation, or a similar assessment under other Union law.
