In order to take into account the evolving technological environment and the rapidly changing risks associated with AI systems, the Commission should adopt, by means of implementing acts, the detailed elements of the conformity assessment procedures in accordance with this Regulation. In addition, the Commission may, where necessary, adopt harmonised rules for those procedures in order to increase their efficiency and effectiveness, taking into account the relevant implementing and delegated acts and harmonised standards.
